• Commission purchase of EU Allowances in shipping with M.M.Warburg & CO possible since January 2025

M.M.Warburg & CO expands its range of shipping services and enables the purchase of EU Allowances (EUA). To this end, the bank has acquired exclusive market access through which M.M.Warburg & CO buys EU Allowances on commission. The certificates are deposited directly in the Union Registry account of the shipping companies. Customers with an existing account do not have to undergo any further KYC checks.

This new service is being offered against the backdrop of new EU regulations on the verification and offsetting of annual CO2 emissions in the shipping industry.
